Environmental Protection & Sustainability

Alabama's natural beauty and resources are our greatest asset, but they are under threat. I will fight to protect our waterways from industrial pollution, ensure that every community has access to clean drinking water, and expand our state parks and protected lands.

Furthermore, we must embrace the future by transitioning to renewable energy. This isn't just about the environment; it's about the economy. By investing in solar and wind infrastructure, we can create thousands of high-paying, local green jobs that cannot be outsourced.

Revitalizing Public Education

Every child in Alabama deserves a world-class education, regardless of their zip code. For too long, our public schools have been underfunded and our teachers undervalued. I pledge to support legislation that fully funds public education and raises teacher salaries to the national average.

We must also remember that education is not merely job training. Our schools exist to cultivate curious minds, thoughtful citizens, and well-rounded human beings—to teach our children how to think, not just how to work. A true education nourishes the whole person, instilling a love of learning, an appreciation for the arts and sciences, and the critical thinking skills our democracy depends on.

Healthcare as a Human Right

No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and seeing a doctor. Alabama must expand Medicaid immediately. This simple step will provide coverage to hundreds of thousands of Alabamians, keep rural hospitals open, and bring billions of federal tax dollars back into our state economy.

We must also address the mental health crisis by increasing funding for community health centers and ensuring that mental health services are covered with parity to physical health services.
